I’m honored and grateful that my artwork was selected as the official T-shirt design for the 2027 Kaiwi Coast Run & Walk! This original 8 × 10-inch piece was created with colored pencil on paper.

The design was inspired by the beautiful Kaiwi coastline. While creating this piece, I thought about the deep blue ocean, the winding coastal road, the mountains, and the many natural patterns found along this special shoreline. I wanted to capture the feeling of traveling beside the ocean while giving the scenery a breath of my own artistic style through geometric shapes, layered patterns, and color.

I am truly thankful to the Kaiwi Coast Run & Walk and Honolulu Printmakers for this opportunity and to everyone who has continued to encourage my journey as an artist. I cannot wait to see runners and walkers wearing my artwork along the very coastline that inspired it in 2027!

I’m so excited to share that new arrivals are coming soon for the Haleʻiwa Arts Festival.

Over the past few weeks, I have been creating several new original pieces with so much gratitude in my heart. Each artwork carries its own message, inspired by Hawaiʻi’s light, hula, ocean colors, flowers, and the spirit of aloha.

Along with new originals, I also ordered more greeting cards and key chains, so there will be more little pieces of aloha to take home or share with someone special.

I am truly looking forward to meeting everyone at the Haleʻiwa Arts Festival and sharing these new works in person. My hope is that people can feel the messages I placed in my art — and that each piece reminds them to shine their own light.
